Condor: No direct flight to Curaçao anymore
Fri, Nov 23rd, 2018

Water Salute Condor-1LWILLEMSTAD - The German aviation company Condor does not offer direct flights from Frankfurt to Curacao anymore, but will fly via Grenada. The flights are also no longer performed on Wednesdays as of January but on Sundays.

A few weeks ago, Condor started flying directly between Frankfurt and Curacao, but the airline is already making changes and will make a stopover on Grenada. A flight will then take almost 13 hours.

Chances are that German tourists will not fly to Curacao, but will stay on the more familiar Grenada. As usual, the Curacao Tourist Board has issued a seat guarantee and is advertising in Germany for Condor. It is unclear whether this change was taken into account in the agreement between Condor and CTB.

The number of tourists to Curacao could decrease due to this change. Condor itself is not afraid of this. According to the company, this has been done in consultation with the CTB.
