Amerijet’s Trinidad Division Expands its Relationship with Servisair
August 22, 2012
Ft Lauderdale, FL

For more than 20 years, Amerijet has provided reliable, high quality cargo transportation services to Trinidad & Tobago through its fleet of 727 and 767 all cargo airplanes. Amerijet is the first and only airline to operate a cargo hub with direct flights linking Piarco to the Caribbean, North, Central and South America.

For the last several years, Servisair has provided manpower and equipment to handle Amerijet’s larger aircraft. Through the expansion of this relationship, Amerijet can continue to provide dependable, dedicated services while gaining a scalable, cost-effective operation that can adapt to its growing needs.

“We are proud to have been chosen by Amerijet to offer additional services to them at their facilities. Our dedication to excellence is world renowned and Trinidad is no exception,” said Eugene Shairsingh, Managing Director at Servisair.

All of Amerijet’s cargo will continue to be received, handled and stored at its secure, custom-built facility at the Piarco International Airport. Under the guidance and supervision of Amerijet’s customer service, security, sales and management teams, customers will continue to receive the excellent service they have come to expect from each of the 15 weekly all-cargo flights carrying over 500,000 kgs in each direction.

“Amerijet takes great pride in its ability to provide the best transportation services to support the economic development of the business and individuals in Trinidad and Tobago. As an engine of growth for the entire Caribbean region, we are always expanding our relationships in the markets we serve, so that we can continue to offer the very best, most efficient operations possible to our customers. This newly expanded relationship with Servisair, in conjunction with our existing operations in Piarco, will deliver a seamless transportation experience throughout our network of over 73 countries.” said Simon Pantin, Director of Global Network Development at Amerijet International and Amerijet Caribbean Express.
