Tue, Jul 12th, 2016

SANTO DOMINGO

Pawa Dominicana stands strong with its plans to operate flights to New York, Miami, and Puerto Rico. As part of this plan, the airline visited the representative of the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the exterior, John Divine.

During the meeting, the CEO of the airline, Simeon Garcia, reiterated the commitment of the company to grow and continue to expand its commercial activities. “The visit of the TSA is transcendental for us, we are taking solid steps to add the United States to the routes served. Right now we are up to seven destinations. We will continue to honor our commitment to be the wings of the Dominican Republic,” said the executive.

He said Devine welcomed the objective of PAWA to offer greater possibilities of connection to other destinations. “This way the airline will continue to advance with the aspiration to add Miami, Puerto Rico, and New York to its itinerary, which includes Antigua, Aruba, Curaçao, Havana, Port au Prince and St. Maarten,” said Garcia.
